A crazy day

I'll start with the other day when Jens and I were at the grocery store. I wanted some small bottles of Coke Zero to take with me to drink while waiting for the train 1)'cause I really need a boost around then 2) it's cheaper than me grabbing a bite at the train station and gives me a boost of energy that lasts until I get home. Jens points out that the big bottles are cheaper AND that I have a nice little bike bottle I could pour some into and carry with me. *nods* And I agreed to this.
So. Last night I poured some CZero into my bottle. It proceeded to fizz and the lovely water tight nozzle on the bottle proved that it is NOT cola tight. Fab. We left the bottle open all night in the fridge thinking it would go flat and not cause any problems in the morning. And all seemed well this morning but as an extra precaution I put the bottle in a ziploc baggie. Cut to me getting off the bus in Chemnitz. Wondering why my leg feels damp. Yeah. The bottle AND the baggie leaked.
School was good if dull. Oh, wait. I almost forgot. The substitute teacher we had changed my name. I'm now Jeniffer Neubauer. 'Cause apparently my actual legal last name is not German enough and god knows I wouldn't know how to spell my own first name.
On the way to the train station, after class, I dawdled and then decided that a 6" Veggie Delight from Subway was a worthwhile investment. After I ate, I strolled leisurely to the tracks where my train usually stands. Wasn't there. So I went to check the board. Nope, that train is not on the board. I tried to find someone to ask but the information people were apparently out to lunch. I called Jens to see what he could scare up on the internet for me. Well, the schedules have changed. Woo. Jens had to figure out a way to get me home, and he did. I had to wait longer, and I got home later but at least I got here. I think he said he's going to look again tonight and see if there's anything better. I really hope so.
But at least I had a better day than the poor guy in class whose wallet was either stolen or fell out of his coat pocket. With all of his documents in it. And money. And bank card. And health insurance card. And bus ticket. That sure as hell makes the stress of my day look like a walk in the park.
