More recipes!

I made Dawn’s Harvest Pork Roast in the slow cooker, and served it with carrots and Golden Sweet Cornbread.

The pork came out quite good, I was skeptical of serving it with some of the apples and cranberries but it was surprisingly good with them! And the cornbread. Oh. My. God. The Cornbread. Better than good. Usually I can take or leave cornbread but this recipe* ROCKS. I had 2 and a half servings of it. Sooo full.



*The substitutions I made for the cornbread were minimal, lactose free skim milk for the milk and Splenda for the sugar just to reduce calories by 520.

It's not something we ever had growing up! According to my mother, fruit does not go with meat! :-D

Also, I wanted to chat with you about Sammy T starting Kindergarten (aka German preschool) and my mom's surgery today. They can wait though. *hugs*
