Remember I said I had two penpals? Now I have, like, five. Three from Germany (still counting Ruth), one from Scotland, and one from Korea. It's crazy. But fun. I haven't gotten any psychos yet, a shame really. It would give me something exciting to talk about on LJ. My only real concern is what on earth I'll be talking about with all these people. I should have thought of this before hand I suppose. I guess I'll just have to work on being interesting. I'll be watching all of you carefully to see how you do it. ;-)
For the past three days Karl has been going somewhere without Froggle at the appointed Frog walking time and it's really messing with the poor boy. He has been walked, by me, so he's not being neglected or anything, don't worry. But it upsets Froggle. He has this routine thing and Karl is a big part of his routine.
Jens comes home tonight, which I'm very happy for. I miss my baby. Hopefully he won't be going back to Bonn next week, and since his usual work place is really slow right now he may get to spend a few days at home. It'd be really nice to have Jens around the house awhile after all of this shipping him off, you know.
We're also planning to go out this weekend. We're thinking about going out to dinner at the Greek place and then going bowling, or maybe going up to Dresden and getting a copy of Oblivion, seeing Daniel, and having dinner at Chicago's and playing some airh hockey/bowling. And then the next weekend we're thinking about having a 'OMG IS WINTER REALLY OVER?!!?!' party, provided that it keeps warming up and the snow goes away. Daniel suggested having a bonfire/campfire and roasting marshmallows and chicken or something. It sounds like a blast to me, especially if winter is really going away! *spazdances*
I've been eyeballing summer clothes as you can tell if you ever look at my wishlist. I know I shouldn't cave and buy them, because really I don't believe it will ever get warm enough to wear them. But they look so summery! They give me hope. Someone somewhere is enjoying warm weather. Someday it could be me.
