So my paid account expired. Blah. I've got that horrible thing with the ads because we're trying not to spend too frivolously. Back to 15 user pics but it's really not entirely unbearable. If anyone wants to get me more paid time for my birthday feel free. ;-)
I was talking to the Frog today, getting him to lay down and not jump on people when they come up the stairs. Well, I should say TRYING to get him to lay down and not jump on people when they come up the stairs. And Jens kinda cracked up at me. Apparently the commands I've been picking up from my father-in-law are Sächsisch and not proper German. Jens told his dad he needs to speak proper German and related that I was speaking the Sächsisch dialect. His dad was amused and rather unconcerned. And I figure if the Frog listens to Sächsisch I'm going to use it, even if it's the equivalent of hearing Jens suddenly speak in a deep southern accent and hysterically funny to some folk.
In Second Life I quit the casino job I had. I'm going to do a couple more events on Djork to make up for the lost income. But it is really so SOOOO nice not to need to be there tonight. I've been off of SL almost all day. I hung out with Jens and watched part of a movie (he got bored and went back to play his game after awhile). We took a walk with Frog. We made dinner together, talked more. It's just really really nice.
Speaking of Frog, he's been good more often than not lately. If he would just listen a little better he'd be golden. Well, comparatively so compared to his usual crazy monster self. We've been giving him ear meds to knock out whatever is making his ears itch that may be part of it. He doesn't have ear mites but he gets a lot of nasty looking gunk in his ears and he scratches them a lot. The vet is finally taking his ears seriously. I mean, he's been having ear issues for ages it needs to fixed. Next we'll see if we can get her to take a good look at his feet. They've been red and bothering him since before Christmas last year. -.-
In other non-news, I hate housework. I'm not sick anymore, despite some residual lingering snot. I'm out of my medicinal chocolate but I'll be going to get some more when I mail out Jens' CV for the job in Chemnitz he wants. Haven't heard a word from my cousin about her impending visit.
