Changes in SL
Oct. 21st, 2006 03:17 pmWell, I'm now renting my own place in Second Life. 500L a week and 500 prims, a truly sweet deal. Dev and I went through the old house and she gave me a lot of stuff that will come in handy at my new place. I don't think she'll be playing at all anymore. And I'm going to miss her horribly. But she wasn't having fun anymore and it got to be more trouble than it was worth. Hopefully she'll be having more fun with WoW and we'll still get to talk here and there.
I'm looking forward to re-doing my events here after Halloween. I really want to do something different. As much fun as it is to host the Trivia Events, gathering trivia is such a pain in the ass anymore.
On the plus side I'm really enjoying decorating my new place. I'm going to do a Morrocan/Turkish theme downstairs and I'm still working on how I want the upsairs to look. I have my library set up and the bedroom stuff. I love shopping in SL I swear it's one of the absolute best things there.
I may even try my hand at some things to sell to give me a little extra income. I tried clothes ... well I gave clothes a sort of half assed shot but they seem so hard to do! I had to get Jens to help me make my arm warmers, it was just so confusing! I may do some 'hung art' and see if that sells. I know I can do that easy enough. And if I'm feeling brave I may try a rug and some cushions.
Oh! And I'm looking forward to my Second Life Halloween Party! Since we took down the house I'm going to fix up the land with all my fab Halloween items. I hope enough folks show to make it fun, otherwise it'll be kinda lame. The party I'm throwing on Djork should be good though.
