Caught an episode of Gilmore Girls today, in German. There were so many things that just weren't right with the voices, and the translation (yes, I recall what was being said in English) was a little, um, iffy in parts. So, of course, I now feel compelled to watch my Gilmore Girls DVDs again.

In other news I have found a German kids' show I really like, Simsala Grimm. I'm still surprised now and then that I can actually watch a program in German.

But. When I just want to veg I still go for things in English. Which consists of EuroNews (YAY LIVE INAUGURATION COVERAGE!!) and MTV Austria. Oh dear god. MTV Austria. That Paris Hilton's New BFF show? Seen it. America's Best Dance Crew? I actually kinda like it. Assorted dating/zomg will they cheat shows? Yup (as a side note I hope being sterilized was a prerequisite for appearing on those). I am deeply ashamed, and yet I keep flipping over to see what's on. I mean, really. It's not just a train wreck it's an eight train pile-up with fireworks and more trailer trash hysterics than you can shake a stick at.

I had a point, but I have forgotten it. I blame MTV Austria.
