The In-laws
Feb. 1st, 2009 11:21 amIn explaining to my in-laws why we're trying to get a doctor's appointment for tomorrow morning, my husband relayed to them that I had taken a pregnancy test this morning and that it was positive.
Now, knowing my in-laws, I was not expecting a "happy happy yay a grandchild" dance. In fact, Jens had previously warned me that they would most likely fuss about our finances and upcoming trip and how we can afford all this. What we got instead was a discussion on the accuracy of pregnancy tests today and a mild argument over whether it was a frog or a rabbit they used to inject with a pregnant woman's urine.
I am amused.
